Napleton Hyundai of Carmel in Carmel, IN is seeking an Automotive Master Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to dealer and factory standards. The role emphasizes building customer trust through accurate diagnosis and quality repairs.

The position offers growth in a large Ed Napleton Automotive Group with extensive brand affiliations and an earning potential from $75,000 to $130,000 with incentive pay, plus comprehensive benefits including paid training and manufacturer certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Self-motivated with a process-driven approach.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition & electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Clearly explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including customers and staff.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay

Located at Napleton Hyundai of Carmel, the Master Technicianisresponsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
