Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Master Technician for Napleton KIA of Carmel. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles to factory standards and building customer loyalty through trust and confidence in Napleton’s service.

Located in Carmel, IN, the successful candidate will have 3+ years of journeyman/master technician experience, be process-driven, and willing to undergo background checks. The group offers extensive training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Journeyman/Master Technician.
• Self-starter with a process-driven mindset.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as per local laws.
• Age 18+ to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications including brake/hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical staff and customers.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current.
• Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

Located at Napleton KIA of Carmel, the Master Technician isresponsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman/ Master Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
