Job summary

Ulta Beauty in our stores seeks a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. The Master Stylist delivers quality professional services with an emphasis on the guest’s total look and supports the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager through performance, people, and process focus.

Ideal candidates have a cosmetology license and proven experience in hair services, with the ability to build guest relationships, work independently

Qualifications

• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for performing haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing services (where applicable) and/or an aptitude to develop skills and capabilities in all service categories.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests and consult on hair care needs, recommending products and services.
• Deliver quality professional services with emphasis on guest total look.
• Support managers through performance, guest service, and store procedures.
• Stay informed on industry trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
• Maintain attendance and uphold safety and sanitation standards.
