Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care, and deliver high-quality professional services for total-look results. You will support leadership, drive service sales, and maintain guest satisfaction with a focus on knowledge of products and treatments.

The role requires a cosmetology license and prior relevant experience; you will work in a fast-paced salon environment, following Ulta’s standards and safety protocols while building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Previous relevant work experience is required.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for performing haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing services (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, color, treatments, styling, and extensions; ear piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services and contribute to retail/service sales and loyalty.
• Demonstrate, recommend, and sell pro hair care and makeup products; drive guest service experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and state board guidelines; follow service protocols and maintain cleanliness.
