Ulta Beauty is seeking a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care, and deliver high-quality services in a dynamic salon environment. You will drive guest satisfaction and contribute to store performance through expert styling, product recommendations, and service sales.

The Master Stylist role requires a cosmetology license and proven experience with hair cutting, coloring, and makeup, plus a collaborative, guest-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for haircutting, haircolor, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests, consult on hair care needs and recommend products and services.
• Deliver quality professional services including haircuts, color, styling, makeup applications and other related services.
• Meet or exceed sales and productivity goals for hair services and contribute to store goals for retail and service sales.
• Demonstrate and sell pro hair care and makeup products to guests.
• Follow safety, sanitation and infection control procedures; comply with state guidelines.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and adhere to dress code; book guests for return services and events.
