Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. The role emphasizes guest experience, service quality, and contributing to retail and service sales with a strong product knowledge base.

You will support the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager, maintain standards, and stay current with industry trends, ensuring a welcoming total-store experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Previous relevant work experience is required.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for performing haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing services.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Meet or exceed sales goal of $1250 average weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services by delivering exceptional guest service and contributing to store goals.
• Demonstrate, recommend and sell professional hair care and makeup products to guests.
• Support in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance and overall salon cleanliness.
