Septic System Master InstallerCompany: A Advanced Septic and ConstructionLocation: Auburn, WA, serving King, Pierce, Kitsap, and Thurston CountiesJob Type: Full-Time, SalariedSalary: $120,000 - $130,000 annuallyA Advanced Septic and Construction is seeking an experienced and licensed Septic System Master Installer to lead our septic installation crews and oversee field operations. This is a hands-on management position responsible for supervising employees, coordinating projects and resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, and performing skilled septic installation work as needed.A current King County Master Installer License is required for this position.Key ResponsibilitiesCrew Management: Supervise and direct septic installation crews, assign daily work, monitor performance and productivity, provide training and coaching, and ensure safety, quality, and production expectations are met.Employee Supervision: Provide input and recommendations regarding employee performance, hiring, training, discipline, advancement, and other personnel decisions.Regulatory Compliance: Maintain knowledge of King, Pierce, Kitsap, and Thurston County septic codes, rules, regulations, and requirements and ensure installations are completed in compliance with applicable standards.Septic System Installation: Oversee and perform septic installations, including reading designs, calculating and shooting grade, trenching, installing tanks, pipes and drainfields, and completing backfill.Heavy Equipment Operation: Safely and proficiently operate heavy equipment, with an emphasis on excavators and skid steers.Project Management: Oversee projects from field mobilization through completion, monitoring schedules, budgets, labor, materials, equipment, productivity, and quality.Resource Coordination: Schedule and coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and other resources to support efficient and timely project completion.Collaboration: Work closely with estimators, project managers, contractors, inspectors, and other departments to coordinate project requirements and timelines.Blueprint Reading: Read, comprehend, and accurately execute septic designs, blueprints, plans, and specifications.Safety and Quality: Enforce company safety requirements and monitor work to ensure installations meet approved designs, permits, company standards, and applicable regulations.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily records of project activities, labor, materials, equipment usage, and work performed.Job RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in septic system installation, repair, and maintenance.Current and valid King County Master Installer License (required).Previous experience supervising or leading field crews.Strong knowledge of septic system installation practices and applicable county requirements.Proficiency in reading septic designs, blueprints, plans, and specifications.Experience operating excavators, skid steers, and other construction equipment.Ability to supervise employees, coordinate projects and resources, monitor costs, and maintain production and quality standards.Valid Washington State driver's license and ability to meet applicable company and insurance driving requirements.Willing and able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if required for assigned duties.Must meet applicable pre-employment background screening and drug testing requirements.ScheduleFull-time, salaried positionPrimarily Monday through FridayAdditional hours, emergency on-call, and weekends as business or project needs requireField work throughout King, Pierce, Kitsap, and Thurston CountiesBenefits Package IncludesCompany Paid Medical for Employees ($25.00 bi-weekly employee contribution)Dental Insurance – Supplemental Available (After 3 months)Vision Insurance – Supplemental Available (After 3 months)Company Paid $25,000 Life InsuranceSupplemental Life Insurance – Principal + Colonial401K – 4% Company MatchPaid Sick Leave – Begins accruing immediately at the rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked and is eligible for use after 90 days of employmentPaid Time Off (PTO) Plans – Tiered based upon tenureSupplemental Aflac InsuranceAflac Supplemental Insurance (Short- & Long-Term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident, etc.)Professional Development OpportunitiesRetirement PlanReferral Bonus ProgramEmployee Discount Program6 Paid Holidays (After 6 months of employment)As a token of our gratitude, Veterans and Active Military Members receive Veterans Day as an additional paid holiday (After 6 months of employment)Why Join Us?Competitive Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 annuallyProfessional Development: Opportunities for ongoing training and certificationTeam-Oriented: Join a collaborative and supportive teamEqual Employment OpportunityA Advanced Septic and Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
