Job summary

Sonaca North America in Washington, MO seeks a Master Scheduler to develop and maintain master schedules, coordinate SIOP activities, and lead the schedulers and delivery coordinators. The role requires 5+ years in production scheduling, aerospace knowledge preferred, SAP experience, and strong Excel skills.

You will ensure on-time delivery, optimize capacity, and drive continuous improvement in throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years production scheduling experience.
• Aerospace industry knowledge preferred.
• Leadership experience and APICS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Production Operations, Production Control, Scheduling, Distribution, Inventory Management, ROP, and MRP helpful.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills; SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support SIOP process and report consolidated weekly schedule with risks and recommendations.
• Collaborate with scheduling team on data collection and status updates; provide strategies and back-up planning.
• Manage and direct team of schedulers, delivery coordinators and production support activities.
• Conduct performance management: goals, reviews, development plans for team.
• Develop production schedules with lead times to procure materials and meet forecasts.
• Manage capacity plan and headcount forecasts; ensure work centers are scheduled.
• Reschedule shop floor to meet lead times; provide status and delivery information.
• Identify obstacles hindering schedule attainment and improve efficiency.
• Balance customer requirements with inventory and capacity; improve information accuracy.
