Sonaca North America in Washington, MO seeks a Master Scheduler to develop and maintain master schedules, coordinate SIOP activities, and lead the schedulers and delivery coordinators. This position serves as the sites Master Scheduler and oversees the Production Scheduling, Delivery Coordinators and other supporting function teams. They are responsible for development, release and maintenance of program master schedules, subsequent functional operating schedules and order release schedules. This position has overall responsibility of master scheduling which includes incorporating material and plant fabrication lead time setbacks, historical data and capacity inputs. The Master Scheduler is also responsible for coordinating the Sales, Inventory and Operations planning process, capacity review cycle (machine and manpower) and functioning of scheduling team. This entails the critical evaluation of used efficiency and utilization factors. The position requires significant interaction with schedulers and other plant personnel to ensure the schedule status is accurate and feasible and to provide necessary feedback to assure manufacturing throughput and support of customer requirements and sales commitments.
This role is based at our Washington, MO site and is not available as remote or hybrid.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Minimum of five (5) years production scheduling experience required. Aerospace industry knowledge is preferred. Previous leadership experience and APICS Certification are both preferred. Knowledge of Production Operations, Production Control, Scheduling, Distribution, Inventory Management, Re-Order Points (ROP) and MRP is helpful. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel. SAP experience required. Employee must have the ability to understand manufacturing processes and associated workflows.
