Job summary

Emerson in Elyria, OH is seeking a Master Scheduler to develop, maintain, and optimize the master production schedule to meet customer demand, inventory targets, and capacity requirements. This role links Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations to balance supply and demand while driving inventory optimization and service levels.

You will collaborate with plant leadership, engineering, production planning and sourcing to create capacity plans, monitor adherence, and drive remedial actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in supply chain planning or master scheduling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data interpretation.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• US work authorization; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support objectives.
• Collaborate with plant leadership, engineering, and sourcing to plan capacity.
• Monitor schedule adherence; identify risks and drive remedial action.
• Perform scenario analysis and address shortages, excess, and buy/make decisions.
• Track KPI like schedule attainment, inventory, and other SCM metrics.
• Support S&OP processes through planning analysis and reporting.
