Job summary

Piston Automotive in Louisville, KY is seeking a Master Scheduler to ensure a continuous material flow to support production and on-time delivery. You will coordinate with suppliers and production, review material availability, and manage schedules to meet customer commitments.

Responsibilities include maintaining PFEP, coordinating expedites, leading the materials team, and performing cycle counts. Knowledge of PFEP, 5S, and ERP shop-floor controls is essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of experience as Master Scheduler or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Five years of PFEP experience.
• Five years of 5S experience.
• Five years of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) at an intermediate to advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned areas, required material and the respective suppliers to include problem resolution.
• Coordinate engineering changes and build schedules with suppliers and production to meet customer expectations and minimize obsolescence.
• Analyze MRP/RPS weekly/daily, issue 862/830 to supplier to ensure uninterrupted supply of material.
• Coordinate expedites of material from suppliers to support the production schedule and meet customer requirements.
• Participate in and execute a Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
• Prepare performance data, reports and metrics to support company goals and objectives.
• Schedule transportation to and from the plant following customer guidelines.
• Manage inventory: right-size, perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies.
• Lead and coach the materials team on systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain 5S with proper signage for all materials storage locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
