Job summary

Piston Automotive is seeking a Master Scheduler to ensure a continuous supply of materials to support production and 100% on-time delivery to customers. The role collaborates with production to set schedules based on customer needs and to review material availability.

You will monitor supplier performance, coordinate PFEP planning, and communicate material status and delivery commitments for any exceptions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of experience as Master Scheduler or related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
• Five years of PFEP experience.
• Five years of 5S experience.
• Five years of using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) at intermediate to advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials, suppliers, and problem resolution for assigned areas.
• Coordinate schedules with suppliers and production to meet customer expectations and minimize obsolescence.
• Analyze MRP/ERP data weekly and communicate with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Expedite materials from suppliers to support the production plan and meet customer requirements.
• Participate in and execute a PFEP plan.
• Prepare performance data, reports and metrics to support company goals.
• Schedule transportation to and from the plant following customer guidelines.
• Manage inventory, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to avoid shortages.
• Lead and coach the materials team on systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain 5S and signage for all materials storage locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
