Job summary

Piston Automotive in Louisville, KY is seeking a Master Scheduler to ensure a steady supply of materials and 100% on-time delivery for customers including Ford, Chrysler, GM, Honda. You will coordinate schedules with production, monitor material availability, and communicate status and priorities across teams.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in master scheduling, PFEP and 5S experience, and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of Five years of experience as Master Scheduler or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Five years of experience with Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
• Five years of experience working with 5S.
• Five years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) at an intermediate to advance level.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned areas and the respective suppliers to include problem resolution.
• Coordinate engineering changes and build schedules with suppliers and production.
• Analyze MRP/RPS weekly/daily and issue 862/830 to suppliers.
• Coordinate expedites of material from suppliers to support the production schedule.
• Participate in and execute a Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
• Prepare performance data, reports and metrics to support goals and objectives.
• Schedule transportation to and from the plant following customer guidelines.
• Manage inventory: right-size, cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead and coach the materials team on systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain 5S signage for all materials storage locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
