Job summary

Piston Automotive, part of the Piston Group family, seeks a Master Scheduler to ensure continuous material flow and on-time delivery to customers. You will coordinate with production, manage suppliers, and maintain PFEP and 5S standards to minimize obsolescence and shortages.

Candidates should have eight years in a Master Scheduler role, a business/supply chain degree, and strong Excel/Office skills. The role supports Ford/GM/Chrysler line customers and offers competitive wages and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience as a Master Scheduler or related role.
• PFEP expertise and PFEP processes required.
• Proficient in 5S and lean organizational practices.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word) at an intermediate/advanced level.
• Experience with TRANS4M or equivalent shop floor control software highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned material areas and suppliers, resolving issues.
• Coordinate engineering changes and build schedules with suppliers and production.
• Analyze MRP/ RPS to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
• Coordinate expedites from suppliers to support production.
• Implement PFEP and maintain accurate part data.
• Prepare performance data and metrics to support goals.
• Schedule transportation and maintain customer guidelines.
• Manage inventory, perform cycle counts, resolve discrepancies.
• Lead and coach materials team on systems and procedures.
• Maintain 5S and signage for materials storage locations.
