Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Scheduling role in a related industry.
• Knowledge of supply chains in related industry.
• Knowledge of manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of Material Planning systems.
• Knowledge of JobBoss operating system is a plus.
• Knowledge of purchasing process is a plus.
• Knowledge of machining is a plus.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and enter/schedule orders to fulfill them.
• Monitor shop status and report to Operations Manager and other departments.
• Run reports in the OS to report production metrics and workload.
• Provide data for capacity vs forecast and suggest adjustments.
• Create new jobs and reschedule as needed for demand.
• Maintain min/max and reorder points for forecasted parts.
• Communicate late routings and estimates to relevant parties.
• Lead daily production meetings.
• Maintain clean work area and communicate progress to Supervisor.
