Job summary

Actalent, based in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Schedule Manager to create and manage dynamic master project schedules from pre-construction through closeout using MS Project. You will ensure timelines are met, identify delays, and work with field teams to develop recovery or acceleration plans.

Responsibilities include leading regular scheduling reviews with PMs and trades, tracking progress, and generating EVM metrics for client reporting. Onsite with ~5% travel and a long-term contract path.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Project for baseline schedule creation.
• Experience in project coordination and schedule management.
• Ability to perform critical path analysis and establish logic and sequencing.
• Skill in conducting delay impact assessments and developing mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Build dynamic, detailed master project schedules from pre-construction to closeout using MS Project.
• Establish accurate activity logic, predecessor/successor relationships, lead/lag times, and WBS.
• Progress-update master schedules by tracking field productivity, milestone achievements, and subcontractor activities.
• Monitor and analyze critical paths to identify bottlenecks before delays impact dates.
• Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and delay reviews for change orders and scope modifications.
• Work with field teams to develop recovery or acceleration schedules when delays occur.
• Lead scheduling review meetings with PMs, Superintendents, and Trade Contractors for look-ahead schedules.
• Generate Earned Value, S-curves, and dashboards for exec updates.
