Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to plan and manage enterprise Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and roadmaps using MS Project, with EVMS and program management background. The role involves coordinating with task order leads, technical experts, and project managers to map critical tasks and interdependencies across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret or DoE Q clearance (SCI eligibility) and able to obtain TS/SCI within 3 months of start.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years (or Master's with 3+ years) related experience; four years may substitute for degree.
• Min 2 years experience developing an IMS using MS Project (advanced preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience creating a project baseline and monitoring progress against it; develop mitigation for schedule risk.
• Experience providing impact analysis of schedule changes and identifying variances.

Responsibilities

• Provide IMS support to multiple task orders.
• Develop, integrate and maintain schedules into IMP and IMS as day-to-day tools to assess progress.
• Collaborate with technical experts and project managers in planning and managing schedules.
• Develop solutions to mitigate schedule risk and achieve program goals.
• Execute project management activities including plan development, monitoring and control, and change control.
• Make recommendations to influence key decision-makers on WBS, schedule and budget/cost.
• Update schedule status, produce reports, and track variances with corrective actions.
• Link critical activities across multiple projects.
