Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston-based manufacturer, seeks a Planning & Scheduling Manager to lead multi-site production planning and scheduling. You’ll own the MPS, drive ERP/MRP integrity, and align capacity, material readiness, and demand signals with Project Management, Engineering, and Operations.

Lead a team to standardize processes, improve system utilization, and drive proactive planning over reactive execution. Strong leadership, communication, and advanced Excel/Power BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in production planning and/or scheduling in an engineer-to-order environment.
  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience directing planning across multiple sites.
  • Strong MRP/ERP system experience as a key user and process owner.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the planning and scheduling team across multiple sites.
  • Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and ensure capacity-aligned plans.
  • Drive MRP accuracy and proactive, system-driven execution.
  • Coordinate demand, BOMs, schedules, and priorities with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor shortages and drive proactive resolutions to prevent delays.
  • Track metrics on schedule adherence and on-time delivery.
