Job summary

Astemo Ltd. in Monroe, GA, is seeking a Production Control Planner to own the master production schedule and coordinate day-to-day sequencing to align with customer demand.

You will translate orders and forecasts into actionable build plans, manage MRP exceptions in SAP, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and drive continuous scheduling improvements in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3–5 years in production scheduling or control.
• Experience managing customer demand and orders.
• Hands-on MRP experience in ERP systems such as SAP.
• Knowledge of supplier planning and PCNL documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build, publish, and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) across lines.
• Translate orders and forecasts into firm production orders and resolve capacity conflicts within 24 hours.
• Run MRP, reschedule orders to prevent shortages and overloads.
• Coordinate with suppliers to align inbound timing with schedule and flag risks 48+ hours early.
• Process and route PCNL letters, assess impact within 1 business day.
• Model capacity by shift and work center, flag constraints 2 weeks ahead and suggest actions.
• Publish weekly schedule attainment and risk reports to leadership and teams.
• Lead scheduling process improvements to reduce change churn.
