Job summary

Astemo Ltd. is seeking an Inventory & Materials Planner to support production scheduling and material flow across the Georgia facility.

The role requires coordinating master production schedules, reviewing POs, and maintaining accurate inventory data to ensure timely deliveries and cost-efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of materials experience in auto or related industries, with strong Excel and ERP system skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2 years prior materials experience in auto or related industry preferred.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Detail oriented; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in MS Excel.
• ERP system experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules and monitor material flow with Manufacturing.
• Review master production schedules and work orders.
• Review weekly supplier purchase orders.
• Enter manual inventory transactions; coordinate item setup and item changes.
• Participate in cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor all MRP systems throughout the day.
• Address shortages and track daily requirements and weekly shipments.
• Ensure accurate, timely and economical inventory.
• Supervise physical inventories.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of material processes.
