Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a Master Production Scheduler for its Bluffton, Ohio facility. You will own the master production schedule, coordinate with multiple departments, and drive improvements in schedule attainment and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have five years in production planning or scheduling, strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills, and excellent analytical and communication abilities. Automotive manufacturing experience and QAD familiarity are preferred, with full-time on-site duties.

• Strong understanding of production capacity, inventory management, customer requirements, and manufacturing constraints.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organized when priorities change.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
• QAD experience preferred.

• Coordinate with Production, Materials, Logistics, Quality, Tool & Die, Maintenance, and Customers to address constraints and keep production moving.
• Communicate scheduling priorities and changes clearly across all levels of the organization.
• Use data and manufacturing systems to identify opportunities to improve schedule attainment, inventory performance, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery.

• Have a unique view of the entire operation. You won’t simply maintain a schedule—you will help determine what we run, when we run it, and how we respond when the plan changes.
• Be the center of the operation, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and seeing the direct impact of your decisions on plant performance and customer success.

This full-time role is a part of our Bluffton Ohio Materials team and reports to the Materials Manager.

What we are looking for:

• Five Years’ experience in production planning, materials, or scheduling.
• Strong understanding of production capacity, inventory management, customer requirements, and manufacturing constraints.
• Strong Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain organized when priorities change.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
• QAD experience preferred
