Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a Master Production Scheduler in Bluffton, Ohio. This full-time, on-site role involves developing and maintaining the master production schedule based on customer requirements, inventory, and capacity, while coordinating with multiple departments to keep production moving.

You will use ERP/MRP systems and Excel to optimize capacity, improve on-time delivery, and communicate priorities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Five Years’ experience in production planning, materials, or scheduling.
• Strong understanding of production capacity, inventory management, customer requirements, and manufacturing constraints.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organized when priorities change.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
• QAD experience preferred

• Have a unique view of the entire operation. You won’t simply maintain a schedule—you will help determine what we run, when we run it, and how we respond when the plan changes.
• Be the center of the operation, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and seeing the direct impact of your decisions on plant performance and customer success.

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on customer requirements, inventory levels, capacity, and operational priorities.
• Coordinate with Production, Materials, Logistics, Quality, Tool & Die, Maintenance, and Customers to address constraints and to keep production moving.

This full-time role is a part of our Bluffton Ohio Materials team and reports to the Materials Manager.

What we are looking for:

• Five Years’ experience in production planning, materials, or scheduling.
• Strong understanding of production capacity, inventory management, customer requirements, and manufacturing constraints.
• Strong Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain organized when priorities change.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
• QAD experience preferred
