Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Production Planning / Master Scheduling professional in Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on maintaining the Master Production Schedule, coordinating orders, and ensuring on-time delivery in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

The candidate should have 1-3 years in planning, strong ERP/MRP experience (Oracle/NetSuite/SAP), and advanced Excel skills. This on-site position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of Production Planning, Master Scheduling, Supply Chain Planning, or Demand Planning experience.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems to manage production schedules, work orders, inventory and demand.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
  • Experience in a high-demand, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and changing customer demands.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Master Production Schedules (MPS).
  • Strong forecasting, demand planning and capacity planning experience.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service and Sales teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with leadership and customer interaction.
  • Experience in Health & Wellness, Nutraceutical, Dietary Supplement, Pharmaceutical, or Food Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Project Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Coordinate incoming customer purchase orders and communicate delivery commitments.
  • Establish and communicate production due dates within 24 hours of receiving orders.
  • Monitor and manage customer delivery KPIs, including >99% on-time delivery.
  • Create and release work orders through the ERP/MRP system.
  • Update production schedules daily based on demand and operations.
  • Track production progress through stage gates and identify schedule risks.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Customer Account Managers, and Operations teams.
  • Resolve production bottlenecks and elevate issues impacting commitments.
  • Manage forecasting models and perform demand analysis.
  • Develop and maintain rolling 3-month production plans.
  • Coordinate expedited and rush orders while balancing capacity.
  • Communicate schedule changes and production priorities across departments.
  • Monitor production timelines from order receipt to final shipment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work directly with leadership and customers.
  • Health & Wellness, Nutraceutical, Dietary Supplement, Pharmaceutical, or Food Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Project Management certification preferred.
Work Environment
