Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Master Mechanic in Houston, TX to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, including warranty work, across multiple brands. You will work with newer vehicles and serve as a technical resource to peers, ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

Requires at least 3 years of experience, ASE certifications, and a valid driver's license. On-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3) with ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Strong knowledge across ASE areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, electrical systems, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems.
• Work on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles across multiple brands and technologies.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and share best practices.
• Ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for customers.
