Avis Budget Group is hiring a Master Mechanic in Norfolk, VA. You will diagnose and repair vehicles across multiple brands, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, and HVAC.

The role requires 3+ years of professional auto repair and ASE certifications, with a toolset ready for use in a busy shop. You will work on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles, providing guidance to teammates and ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable for customers to hit the road.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3) with ability to acquire 2 more within first year.
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex auto repairs, including warranty work, on a wide range of makes and models.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical, AC, and onboard computer systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and share best practices.
