Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Master Mechanic in Lihue, Hawaii to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, including warranty work, on newer models across multiple brands. You’ll help keep cars safe and ready for customers.

Requirements: 3+ years of auto repair, current ASE certifications (min 3, with potential for 2 more in year one), a valid driver's license, and a complete toolset. On-site, you’ll collaborate with peers to uphold quality and service.

• 3+ years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3).
• Ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Valid driver's license and complete set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work, on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and onboard computer systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and share best practices.
• Contribute to vehicle safety, reliability, and availability to support customer experience.
