Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Kahului, Hawaii, is seeking a Master Mechanic to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles across multiple brands. You will fix engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, HVAC, and onboard computers, with warranty experience and minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
  • Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3), with ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
  • Strong knowledge across ASE areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance.
  • Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair.
  • Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work, on a wide range of makes and models.
  • Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical, A/C, and onboard computers.
  • Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and share best practices.
  • Ensure vehicles are reliable, safe, and ready for customers.
