Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Kailua, Hawaii. You will perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision.

You may support senior technicians, expand your skills, and work toward ASE certification growth while ensuring vehicles are safe and customer-ready. The role is on-site with benefits including insurance, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Working knowledge of ASE certification areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work.
• Maintain vehicle reliability and safety to reduce downtime and ensure customer-ready vehicles.

Your responsibilities may include oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs based on your experience level.You may also support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you continue to build your skills.
