Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Seattle seeks an experienced Vessel Master to lead the ship's deck, engineering, and safety operations, ensuring adherence to all laws and company policy while guiding crew through daily tasks and complex schedules.

You will coordinate with corporate management on vessel movements, oversee training and certifications, manage safety drills, and uphold high standards for safety, sustainability, and operational excellence across our fleet.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years as Master on a similar sized vessel.
• Advanced firefighting skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR cards.
• Licenses/permits of trade (e.g., CG license of appropriate tonnage).

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees vessel operations and safety.
• Coordinate with Corp. Manager for vessel movements and operations.
• Oversee deck and navigation systems, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop training to keep crew qualified and compliant.
• Manage safety drills and emergency preparedness.
