Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Master to captain one of our vessels, directing deck, engineering, production and safety operations. You will plan movements, supervise senior crew, ensure compliance with laws and company policy, and manage capital projects with the Corp. Manager and Chief Engineer.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years as Master on a vessel of similar size.
• Advanced firefighting skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Appropriate licenses/permits of trade (e.g., CG license of appropriate tonnage, STCW endorsement).

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees vessel operations, including deck, engineering, production and safety.
• Plan and implement vessel movements with Corp. Manager and Chief Engineer.
• Lead training and ensure regulatory training/compliance for crew.
• Maintain safety policies and regulatory knowledge; conduct safety drills.
• Oversee documentation for primary vessel functions.

Education

USCG Masters License 500GRT or greater
