Job summary

Trident Seafoods, a leader in North American seafood, seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to partner with operations, maintenance, and support staff to design and administer EHS policies, programs, and training that meet company standards and governmental regulations.

You will lead hazard analyses, training, and OSHA/EPA compliance, manage wastewater operations, and drive continuous improvement across the facility while supporting safe, compliant production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressively responsible EHS roles in manufacturing or similar industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental safety or related field (or equivalent).
• HAZWOPER cert required or achievable within 6 months.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site management, HR and safety to deploy the safety process and OSHA VPP readiness.
• Develop and manage hazard and risk inspection procedures.
• Oversee wastewater treatment and stormwater programs; respond to incidents.
• Establish reporting for inspections and audit findings; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead training programs for emergency procedures, environmental compliance and safety.
• Investigate fatalities and serious injuries; lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
