Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician in Anaheim, CA to repair, maintain, and service a fleet of tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment. Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and safety documentation, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians.

The role requires five years of experience and ASE Master certification as a substitute for experience; additional incentives include tool reimbursement and tuition support.

Qualifications

Demonstrated competency in repair and maintenance of brakes, electrical, PMI, powertrain and trailing equipment.
Adequate knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle maintenance standards.
Ability to work with diagnostic tools and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Repair, modify and perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts and related equipment.
Perform advanced diagnostics to identify root causes and perform repairs or part replacements.
Adjust equipment for safe and efficient operation and document safety/compliance.
