Job summary
AMECO is seeking an Equipment Field Service Technician (Master Equipment Technician) to support its regional rental fleet through field service, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. This position is based at the Prairieville, LA facility and performs work both in the shop and at customer or project sites.
The ideal candidate has advanced mechanical and troubleshooting capabilities and can independently service aerial lifts, forklifts, compressors, generators, welding
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Experience inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
- Ability to read manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform major and non-routine inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in shop and field.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and related systems.
- Complete work orders, parts orders, billing and warranty records accurately.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support to other technicians as requested.
- Communicate with customers regarding equipment condition and needs.
