Job summary

City of Brighton in Colorado seeks a licensed Master Electrician to lead electrical maintenance for water treatment and Utilities facilities. You will install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems to ensure reliability and continuous water production.

Requires a Colorado Master Electrician license and 5+ years of industrial electrical experience. You will coordinate with operations, contractors, and Engineering while ensuring safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold Colorado Master Electrician license.
• Minimum of five (5) years of industrial electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
• Experience with industrial motor controls, VFDs, standby power systems is preferred.
• Must pass background check and have valid Colorado driver license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install electrical systems for water treatment and Utilities facilities.
• Maintain electrical distribution systems including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, and control panels.
• Coordinate outages and switching with Water Treatment Operations to minimize impact.
• Respond to electrical faults and ensure safe, reliable operation of critical equipment.
• Review drawings, specs, and submittals; inspect contractor work for compliance.
