Job summary

M and M Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical in Colorado is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager with a Colorado Master Electrician License to lead our electrical operations for residential projects. You will oversee field teams, ensure NEC/code compliance, mentor apprentices, and drive safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Master Electrician License – Required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician; management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong residential electrical experience; HVAC-related electrical experience is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of NEC, Colorado electrical codes, permitting and inspection requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and read blueprints/diagrams.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing electricians and apprentices.
• Ability to balance field duties with administrative tasks and use digital tools.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily electrical operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality.
• Perform and supervise residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades (panels, service changes, rewiring, EV chargers).
• Coordinate electrical work with HVAC installations (furnaces, air handlers, condensers, thermostats, zoning).
• Provide technical guidance and field support to electricians and apprentices.
• Mentor and develop apprentices/journeymen to improve skills and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, Colorado codes, permitting and company standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams; troubleshoot complex circuits and equipment.
• Oversee 480/277V and 240/208/120V systems and related components.
• Procure and coordinate materials; collaborate with dispatch, service, installation, sales and leadership.
• Assist with permitting, inspections and ongoing process improvements in the electrical dept.
