Job summary

The City of Brighton is seeking a licensed Master Electrician to maintain and upgrade electrical systems at water treatment and related Utilities facilities in Colorado. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment, ensure safety and reliability, and coordinate outages with Operations to support continuous water treatment operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and Colorado Master Electrician license.
• Electrical apprenticeship or technical training completed.
• Minimum five years of progressive electrical experience in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, modify and test industrial electrical systems.
• Maintain distribution equipment including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, panelboards, breakers.
• Coordinate outages and work with operations to minimize process disruptions.
• Provide technical guidance to staff, contractors, and other departments.
