Job summary

M and M Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager in Colorado to lead residential electrical operations. The role requires an active Colorado Master Electrician License and strong field leadership to guide technicians, ensure quality, and uphold code compliance.

The ideal candidate will mentor apprentices, coordinate with dispatch and other teams, and help grow the electrical department while delivering safe, 5-star service to homeowners.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Master Electrician License required.
• Minimum 5 years as licensed electrician; management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong residential electrical experience; HVAC electrical experience preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of NEC, Colorado electrical codes, permitting and inspection requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Experience mentoring electricians and apprentices.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily electrical operations ensuring safety and quality.
• Perform and support residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades (panels, service changes, rewiring, EV chargers).
• Oversee electrical work with HVAC installations (furnaces, air handlers, condensers, thermostats, zoning).
• Provide technical guidance to electricians, apprentices, and installation teams.
• Mentor and develop apprentices and journeyman electricians.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and Colorado codes, permitting, and standards.
• Read blueprints and electrical diagrams; troubleshoot complex systems.
• Manage 480/277V and 240/208/120V systems.
• Coordinate materials and work with dispatch, service, sales, and leadership.
