Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 10+ years electrical repair/maintenance experience and 7+ years supervisory experience, plus a 4-year technical training.
• Alternate: 11 years electrical repair/maintenance with 8+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews plans, blueprints, and drawings for future buildings and inspects new buildings for code compliance.
• Prepares material and labor estimates.
• Monitors procurement and use of materials.
• Trains employees on new procedures and safety regulations.
• Ensures budgeting guidelines align with campus and department mandates.
• Inspects new construction and remodels.
• Assists in design requirements.
• Performs other related duties.
