Job summary

Enterprise Electrical in Austin, TX is seeking a Working Journeyman to join our field team. You will install and service high voltage systems, conduit, grounding and panels according to NEC, and work under the direction of a Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician.

The role requires TX licenses, reliable transportation, ability to pass background checks, physical stamina, and the willingness to travel as needed. We value safety, teamwork and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• TX Journeyman or Master license required
• 1-5 years field work in commercial settings or 1-2 years of apprenticeship
• Willing to travel as needed
• Punctual, motivated and detail oriented
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Work on and around high voltage energized equipment
• Install electrical conduit systems per NEC
• Setup and maintain temporary power systems
• Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment
• Test components for continuity and voltage readings
• Lay out, cut and bend conduit per blueprints
• Install junction boxes, panels, switches, plugs and fixtures
• Terminate wires to breakers, control panels, and distribution systems
• Coordinate with Licensed Journeyman/Master Electrician and supervision
• Maintain safety standards and follow regulations
• Demonstrate teamwork and reliability under pressure
• Show willingness to grow within the company
