Job summary

Circuit of The Americas in Austin, TX is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to support installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems across venues and events. This full-time, on-site role requires working weekends and flexible hours around race weekends.

Qualified candidates will have 4–6 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience and a valid Texas Apprentice Electrician license. You will read blueprints, coordinate power setups for events, and ensure NEC and OSHA

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
Ability to manage time and problem-solve under changing event schedules.
Capacity to work independently or in small teams on-site.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays during events.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, panels, outlets, and lighting.
Perform preventive maintenance and electrical upgrades across venues.
Coordinate temporary power setups for large-scale events.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and site plans.
Ensure NEC, local codes, and OSHA regulations are followed.
Support emergency power systems and event response as needed.
Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
Collaborate with other trades and contractors on projects.
