Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Richmond seeks a Material Master Data Analyst to support Sales & Operations by maintaining data integrity in planning systems and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will manage master data tasks, troubleshoot issues, audit SAP tables and EDI/ASN processes, and partner with IT and Product Management to ensure accurate material lifecycles and planning parameters. Experience with o9 planning and 3PL data is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize tasks; execute solution; follow up with cross-functional teams; track progress.
• Detail oriented.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Familiarity with overall supply chain planning; materials flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound EDI orders; diagnose issues and review with corresponding team and rectify.
• Table maintenance for EDI orders/customers; verify and audit table parameters to ensure efficient ordering process.
• Manage inbound ASN failures and notifications.
• Maintain SKU lists and details in o9 planning system; run monthly audits of new SKUs/fields.
• Maintain existing material extensions, costing and PIRs (Purchase Information Record).
• 3PL Material and Customer set up (Internal & External).
• Provide ongoing IT liaison to facilitate incident resolution and communicate with business partners.
• Partner with Product Management on new material requests and product maintenance.
