Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks a detail-oriented Master Data Analyst to manage and process SAP business partner data, review legal documents, and support SOX-compliant updates. You will develop spreadsheets for ownership changes and assist in system updates, driving efficiency within the Business Partner Support team.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with SAP, Redwood, and Winshuttle preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of legal document review and data analysis
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of quickly learning new systems and processes

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Business Partner profiles in SAP, ensuring all supporting documentation meets SOX compliance requirements for new records and updates
• Review and analyze legal documents, including IRS filings, SEC filings, SOS documents, and merger/acquisition agreements, to ensure accurate data entry and updates
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets to track name and ownership changes with precision and consistency
• Support management in the planning, preparation, and execution of system updates and enhancements
• Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and resolve complex Business Partner Support issues, including integration of new products into existing workflows
• Monitor and track daily business partner creations and updates using various reporting tools
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required
