Job description

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of master data within the organization’s ERP systems. This role supports Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and IT teams by maintaining high-quality data standards and optimizing ERP workflows.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of ERP master data management experience and strong knowledge of data governance principles.

Master Data Analyst

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Some overtime may be required)

1 Year Contract (Possible Extension)

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain master data records in ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, Salesforce, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of customer, supplier, material, and financial master data
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and routine quality checks
• Conduct ERP master data audits and resolve discrepancies
• Support data governance policy implementation and documentation
• Define and maintain naming conventions, standards, and business rules
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
• Troubleshoot ERP data issues in collaboration with IT and business teams
• Support ERP upgrades, migrations, and implementations
• Generate reports and dashboards to monitor data quality
• Provide data-driven insights for business decision-making
• Train end users on ERP data processes and best practices
• Serve as primary contact for master data inquiries

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field (Required)
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in ERP systems and Master Data Management
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles and compliance standards
• Experience managing large datasets with high accuracy
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP reporting tools
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or migrations (Preferred)
