Job summary

MGM Resorts International seeks a Master Cook for Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse in Las Vegas. You will guide the kitchen team, master all prep and station duties, and craft plates with bold Texas-inspired flavors that reflect our western hospitality.

You will work varied shifts, with emphasis on quality, safety, and timely service in a high-volume, ranch-inspired setting. Ideal candidates have culinary training and experience in fast-paced restaurants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience
• 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in high-volume restaurant preferred
• Formal Culinary Training preferred

Responsibilities

• Master all food preparation, cooking, portioning, sauce mixing, and garnishing methods to ensure every plate meets the standards.
• Set up and operate your specific station according to established pars and set-up sheets.
• Evaluate all cooked food for rich flavors, quality, and bold presentation by tasting and smelling before it leaves the kitchen.
• Honor the heritage of our brand by ensuring all guest orders are prepared with care, accuracy, and true western hospitality.
• Maintain strict health, sanitation, and safety standards, ensuring all food is stored and held at proper temperatures.
• Complete all kitchen closing requirements and station breakdown duties as directed by chef leadership with pride and discipline.
• Delegate kitchen tasks to other team classifications as instructed by the chefs.
