Job summary

Engineering Excellence is hiring a Commercial Plumber III to perform advanced plumbing repairs, installations, and system tests in commercial settings. You will read blueprints, select materials, and ensure code compliance while mentoring junior plumbers.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, coordinating with customers, and directing helpers to complete tasks safely and efficiently. A valid license and EPA safety certification are required.

Qualifications

• On-the-job and formal classroom plumbing training.
• Seven years of experience in plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation.
• Plumbing and/or gas license as required by local regulations.
• EPA and safety certifications are required.
• Proficient reading of wiring diagrams and troubleshooting plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems courteously and accurately.
• Maintains and repairs plumbing systems including fixtures, pipes, and fittings.
• Installs and tests pipe assemblies and fixtures in structures.
• Directs helpers in cutting, preassembly, and installation tasks.
• Maintains company vehicles, tools, and safety practices.
• Complies with licensing and safety regulations.
