Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Cary, NC is seeking a skilled bartender to prepare and serve all beverages per specifications, ensuring a dining experience that meets guests' expectations. You will provide timely beverages to service staff and handle cashier duties for the bar.

The role requires extensive drink and wine knowledge, excellent customer service, and the ability to operate POS systems. You will maintain bar cleanliness, adhere to liquor laws, and support front-of-house as needed to

Responsibilities

Reports to work as indicated on the work schedule and in the correct uniform.
Correctly sets-up bar and completes opening/side work duties, cleaning, stocking, and par levels.
Stocks bar with liquor, beverages and bar supplies per procedures.
Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests.
Greets guests, makes beverage suggestions and answers questions on service.
Takes, records and rings items ordered by bar guests; processes payments.
Observes guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of bar areas to RCSH standards.
Adheres to liquor laws and RCSH policies; follows safety guidelines.
Performs cashiering for service staff and takes Take Out orders.
Addresses guest complaints and supports front-of-house as needed.
