Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Annapolis, MD, is seeking an experienced bartender to prepare and serve all beverages according to Ruth’s Chris specifications, ensuring a dining experience that meets guests’ expectations. You will provide timely, quality beverages to service staff and handle cashier duties for the bar.

The role requires extensive drink preparation knowledge, strong wine expertise, excellent guest service, and the ability to operate the POS system.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work as scheduled and maintains correct uniform.
• Set up bar, complete opening/side work and stock par levels.
• Stock bar with liquor, beverages and supplies.
• Mix and serve beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Greet Guests, suggest beverages, and answer questions.
• Take, record, and ring orders; process beverages for staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar areas and comply with liquor laws.
• Handle Take Out beverages and cashier duties as needed.
• Support other front-of-house roles and maintain training standards.
