Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Durham, NC seeks an experienced Bartender to prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine and spirits, while following all standards and procedures to ensure a premier dining experience.

As a key member of the front-of-house team, you will greet guests, take orders, ring drinks on the POS, maintain bar cleanliness, monitor inventory, and comply with state liquor laws. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room guests.
• Greets guests, makes beverage suggestions and answers questions.
• Takes, records and rings all food and beverage items ordered by bar guests.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas.
• Adheres to liquor laws and restaurant policies.
• Handles cashiering and takes Take Out orders as needed.
