Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a Master Automotive Service Technician in Salt Lake City, UT. You will diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems, participate in ongoing manufacturer training, and support a fast-paced service department with a focus on guest satisfaction and quality workmanship.

The role requires ASE and manufacturer certifications, plus prior automotive technician experience. Candidates must have basic tools, a valid license, pass pre-employment screening, and be at least

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred; manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and pass background/drug screen.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have basic tools.
• Able to work in a fast-paced shop and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work outlined on repair orders with accuracy and in accordance with standards.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles across major systems and components.
• Document all work performed and communicate with service advisors.
• Use handheld devices to diagnose malfunctions and record findings.
• Complete warranty repair orders and filing of warranty claims.
• Maintain CSI scores and ensure safety compliance in the shop.
