Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to repair customer vehicles and enhance guest experiences in a fast-paced dealership environment. The role involves diagnosing and performing repairs across systems, documenting work, and communicating with service advisors to ensure timely completion.

Qualified candidates will have prior technician experience, be comfortable with a variety of duties, maintain high service standards, and participate in ongoing manufacturer

Qualifications

• Must have previous automotive technician experience.
• ASE certifications heavily preferred, manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Must have basic tools and strong mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and able to work on complex tasks repeatedly.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Use multi-point inspection form on each vehicle and document work.
• Communicate with service advisor about additional work or delays.
• Perform diagnosis and repairs from routine to complex tasks.
• Conduct road tests when needed to verify repairs.
• Maintain CSI targets and complete warranty related paperwork.
